It is a great pleasure and fills us with gratitude to see Shree in moving pictures. The following film shows Horst Heigl having Shree’s darshan in 1984, when Horst presented a gilded Agnihotra pyramid to Shree.
In India, it is customary to worship one’s master or a holy person in a special ritual. In doing so, the feet are often reverently touched. In realized human beings, the divine energy enters on top of the head and emanates from the feet. Usually gifts such as flowers or fruits are offered and after being blessed are handed back (Prasad). In this video, Shree presented Horst with as many candies as he could grasp. Horst Heigl was first led to Shree in 1974. He traveled to Shree 33 times and was able to experience high spiritual knowledge directly at the source. Horst recognized it as his life task to pass on this knowledge for the benefit of humans and the earth. This connection allows the Homa-Hof Heiligenberg to pass on Agnihotra unchanged and in its original form.
Kalki Avatar Param Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj in Akkalkot and Shivapuri
‘Kalki-Avatar’ denotes the Divine Messenger who brings help above all against the pollution of the environment and thoughts. After Param Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj (abbreviated as Shree) took the vow to resuscitate the Vedas, five guidelines were revealed to him by means of which the world can be brought back into balance - the Fivefold Path was given. One of the guidelines includes Yajnas (fire ceremonies), of which Agnihotra is the basic Yajna.
Horst Heigl travelled from Germany to Shree a total of 33 times. This film was made in 1977 and supplemented with footage from later years. Shree, whose days were mainly filled with spiritual disciplines, is also shown here on a private side, e.g. with children of his relatives.
In 1985, the film that had been recorded with a Super 8 camera, was transferred to a video cassette. Horst took it to India and showed it in the presence of Shree, who praised it. In 2020, the film, which had been digitalized in the meantime, was completely revised and the sound partly reset so that it can now be shown to the public.
Somayaga - healing energy and purification for the world - Solapur, Maharashtra, India 1978
Fire ceremonies (Yajnas) are as old as humanity and were once spread around the world. We learn about them in the Old Testament as well as in the Bhagavad Gita, a holy scripture of the Hindus. There it says that Yajnas were already given with creation (BG 3.10).
In the Vedas, probably the oldest religious and scientific writings, the knowledge of the correct performance of Yajnas was recorded. In 1944, Param Sadguru Shree Gajanan Maharaj (abbreviated to Shree) took the oath to resuscitate the Vedas. Under his guidance the first Somayaga (i.e. a Yajna using the juice of the Soma plant) took place in 1969 after about 2500 years. A Somayaga lasts several days and includes a variety of ritual acts.
The mantras sung in the process generate certain frequencies and vibration patterns which in conjunction with the fire raise and harmonize the fine life energy (Prana / Chi) – all for the blessing of the world.
In 1978 the second Somayaga after about 2500 years was performed in the presence of Shree in Solapur, Maharashtra, India. The following film shows footage of this Somayaga. The film was recorded by Horst Heigl.
